Cosmetology Program

TSPA knows that a career in cosmetology is not just about a haircut or passing the state board exam; it’s about innovation in hair color and techniques, basic skin and nail care, knowledge of business strategies, and training in guest services. Our Redken-infused cosmetology program will not only prepare you for the state board exam, but more importantly, for a long-term career in the industry.

As part of the program you will receive:

hands-on training with innovative and advanced, Redken-infused styling, cutting and coloring techniques
Practice and fine-tune your skills in a premium salon environment using professional products from Redken 5th Avenue NYC
Business and marketing skills to grow your personal brand and increase your earning potential
Utilization of modern technology for both learning and guest relations; including the integration of mobile devices and social media for the modern salon pro

Prosper U

Let’s be honest; gone are the days where a good haircut and a familiar smile is all it takes to build a successful business. In today’s world, future professionals need to be able to have the tools to build, expand and keep their clientele in order to prosper in the industry. Half the battle is having the tools to be successful in the industry where your work is your voice. Since we believe that marketing is extremely important we want to offer our students an additional education integrated into our cosmetology program here at TSPA, called Prosper U. Prosper U, created by world-renowned salon and school owner, Eric Fisher, and offers our students the tools they need to make sure that they are able to excel in networking, sales, customer services and additional personal and business skills. Prosper U designed their curriculum to help the student with marketing both in and outside of the beauty industry and so students could essentially use all these tools in all areas of their lives.
